New car!

In my last post i mentioned that we were looking at a 2003 Toyota Avalon.
The Avalon was the first car that i drove and as I continued my car search, I got more and more discouraged as there is a lot of junk out there.
After taking a Subaru Forester to my mechanic and learning it needed over $2000 worth of work, my mind went back to the Avalon.
The Avalon reminded me of a grandmother's car.   Like a Buick but a Toyota.   Its not a flashy car but it sure is comfortable and the ride is smooth.
I took it to my mechanic to get it checked out and it passed with a clean bill of health.
In the end the Avalon won, so we purchased that car and get this;  purchase price with tags and fees came to 3800$  the amount of our settlement payment so aside from uber rides to work, this process was relatively fiscally painless.
I am thankful to God for this,  we're saving for a house and we didn't have to deplete savings.  Its all good and exciting.
I can also say i got a bit of an upgrade too.  The Avalon is bigger than the Accord (may she rest in peace), cleaner than the Accord, less miles and newer to boot.  It has a Lexus engine and drives like a dream.
After the Accord was hit, my mind started spinning... "What well happen to us?"  "How will this turn out good?"  I started asking God "please show me where you are in this, i have to see you in this."
I had some ladies pray for me at my women's biblestudy and then mentally let it rest.  Anxiety has been a powerfully negative force in my life and this was a wonderful learning experience.
